Blended Impact Welcomes Accelerator for America to Riverside & Contributes to National OZ Prioritization Framework

April 2026 - Accelerator for America is a national, bipartisan nonprofit that identifies and shares innovative solutions, creates collaborative learning communities supported by national experts, and delivers specialized technical assistance that drives meaningful local impact.They are led by an Advisory Council of forward-thinking mayors, other elected officials, labor leaders, corporate CEOs, philanthropy and nonprofit executives from across the country. They host two Advisory Meetings each year in rotating cities across the county and we were proud to welcome them to our home city.

While on the ground they led a series of discussions on housing affordability, workforce development, and community economic development best practices. We were honored to co-lead discussions on one of the breakout sessions: “Opportunity Zones 2.0: What Did OZ 1.0 Teach Us and How to Up the Ante in OZ 2.0”. We spoke alongside leaders from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Rvesta Consulting, and AmericaFWD. We were especially thrilled to partner with them on this event in advance of the release of their Opportunity Zone Prioritization Framework for local leaders, which we also partnered on.
